Opening from outside

Press the button on the trunk lid or press and hold the button for approximately 1 secondon the remote control – the trunk lid opens.

Only the main keys fit the trunk lock.

Independent locking

Turn the main key clockwise in the lock past the detent and remove it in the horizontal position.

The trunk lid is then locked independently of the central locking. If you give only the spare key to another person, that person will not be able to open the trunk lid. This may be useful, for example, at a hotel.

Unlocking and manual opening

Turn the main key counterclockwise in the lock until it stops – the trunk lid opens.

If the vehicle is armed with the alarm, opening the trunk lid with the key triggers the alarm. Therefore, unlock the vehicle first. See Switching off the alarm.◄

Closing

To prevent injury when closing the trunk lid, make sure there are no obstacles in its path.◄

There are handles on the inside of the trunk lid to make it easier to pull closed.
