P (Park): The front wheels are locked. Select P only after the vehicle has stopped and the parking brake has been applied.

R (Reverse): Reverse gear position. Select R only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop.

N (Neutral): Neutral position.

D: This position is suitable for all normal driving conditions. It allows the automatic transmission to shift through all six forward gears.

M: Manual mode position.

Caution Do not press the accelerator pedal when selecting a gear. Do not press the accelerator and brake pedals at the same time. After selecting a gear and releasing the brake pedal, the vehicle will move off slowly. Do not use P (Park) instead of the parking brake. When leaving the vehicle, switch off the engine, apply the parking brake and remove the key from the ignition.

Do not leave the vehicle unattended with the engine running.
