To improve engine performance, optimize fuel consumption and ensure long-term trouble-free operation, follow the recommendations below during the first several hundred kilometers:

  • Avoid starting off with the accelerator pedal fully depressed.
  • Do not allow the engine to run at high speeds.
  • Avoid heavy braking unless necessary.

    This will allow the brakes to bed in properly.

  • To prevent engine damage and save fuel, avoid sudden starts, hard acceleration and prolonged high-speed driving.

    Avoid accelerating with the accelerator pedal fully depressed in low gears.

  • Do not tow other vehicles.
