  1. Turn off the engine and wait for the manual transmission to cool down.
  2. Remove the filler plug.
  3. If the transmission oil level is low, add oil up to the lower edge of the filler plug hole.
  4. After adding oil to the correct level, tighten the filler plug securely.
Caution Using the wrong oil/fluid may damage the vehicle. Always use the oils/fluids listed under Recommended Fluids and Lubricants. Caution Do not overfill the transmission with transmission oil.

This may cause damage to the transmission.

Warning Heat from the engine, transmission or operating fluids may cause burns.

Before touching the transmission, wait for it to cool down.
