Replacing the wiper blades

~1min read

Proper wiper operation is essential for good visibility and driving safety. Regularly check the condition of the wiper blades. Blades that are hardened, brittle or cracked, or that smear dirt on the windshield, must be replaced.

Foreign matter on the windshield or wiper blades can reduce their performance. If the wipers are not working properly, clean the windshield and wiper blades with a good cleaning agent or mild detergent, and rinse thoroughly with water.

Repeat the entire process if necessary. There is no way to remove silicone traces from the glass. Therefore, do not polish the windows with a silicone-containing product, as it may leave smears that reduce visibility.

Do not use solvents, gasoline, kerosene or paint thinners to clean the wipers. These are corrosive agents that can damage the wiper blades and painted surfaces.
