Xenon lamps are fitted with dynamic levelling correctors so as not to dazzle oncoming vehicles.
The reflectors are swivelled according to changes in vehicle attitude (body movement, braking, acceleration).

Dynamic headlamp levelling corrector
Key:
- Dynamic headlamp levelling corrector
- HV ballast
The dynamic levelling corrector consists of:
- an actuator per headlamp incorporating a stepper motor,
- management electronics, located at the rear of the headlamp, which decodes the signal from the suspension ECU.
Note: A vehicle fitted with xenon lamps is not fitted with fog lamps.
The suspension ECU determines the reflector swivel angle according to the following parameters:
- front and rear vehicle heights,
- vehicle reference height (factory programmed),
- vehicle wheelbase,
- longitudinal acceleration.
Correction is active as soon as the low beams (xenon lamps) are switched on.
Important: In the event of degraded operation, the reflectors are automatically directed downwards.
