Transmission of the lighting switch position to the BSI via the CAR1 VAN network 3 Control of the sidelights (front and rear) and number plate lamps by the BSI The BSI broadcasts the sidelights-on information on the VAN CONFORT network to light the cabin equipment.

The switch status is sent to the BSI via the VAN CAR 1 network. 3 The BSI controls the horn relay via the VAN CAR 1 network.
