READING FAULTS

The following faults can be read using the diagnostic tool:

  • one of the control panel buttons stuck,
  • engine coolant temperature information invalid,
  • outside air temperature invalid,
  • invalid vehicle speed information,
  • no communication with the BSI,
  • cabin temperature sensor short circuit or open circuit,
  • left side vent air temperature sensor short circuit or open circuit,
  • blower feedback voltage short circuit or open circuit,
  • footwell air temperature sensor (left side) short circuit or open circuit,
  • +VAN comfort battery voltage short circuit between two wires or open circuit,
  • sunlight sensor short circuit or open circuit,
  • recirculation motor control open circuit,
  • distribution motor control open circuit,
  • left blend motor open circuit,
  • right blend motor open circuit,
  • blower control short circuit or open circuit,
  • cabin temperature sensor microturbine rotor jammed.

ACTUATOR TEST

The following tests can be performed using the diagnostic tool:

  • Fresh air intake motor control
  • Right distribution motor control
  • Left distribution motor control
  • Right blend motor control
  • Left blend motor control
  • Display lighting control
  • Lighting dimmer
  • Blower control

CODING

The following parameters can be coded using the diagnostic tool:

  • steering type (left-hand drive, right-hand drive),
  • engine type (HDi, non-HDi, cold climate, non-cold climate).
