Active City Brake operates only when the following conditions are met:

  • the ignition is switched on,
  • the vehicle is in forward gear,
  • the speed is between approximately 5 and 30 km/h,
  • the braking assistance systems (ABS, EBD, EBA) are operational,
  • the traction and stability control systems (ASR, CDS) are not deactivated or faulty.
  • the vehicle is not taking a sharp bend,
  • the system has not been activated in the last ten seconds.
