Zasada działania

Using a laser sensor located in the upper part of the windscreen, this system detects a vehicle travelling ahead in the same direction or stopped in front of the vehicle.

If necessary, the vehicle brakes automatically to avoid a collision with the vehicle ahead.

Automatic braking is slightly delayed compared with the action the driver would take, and only occurs when there is a high risk of collision.
