The system only detects vehicles that are stopped or traveling in the same direction.

It does not detect small vehicles (bicycles, motorcycles), pedestrians or animals, nor stationary objects that do not reflect the laser beam.

The system does not activate or stops operating when the driver:

  • presses the accelerator pedal firmly,
  • or turns the steering wheel sharply (evasive manoeuvre).
In difficult weather conditions (heavy rain, snow, fog, hail...) the braking distance increases, which may reduce the effectiveness of the system. The driver must then be especially attentive. Note: a build-up of snow on the bonnet, as well as any objects protruding above the bonnet or the front of the roof, may obstruct the sensor's field of view and disrupt its operation.
