The tow eye is located in the boot, under the floor.

To access it, you must:

  • open the luggage compartment,
  • lift the floor,
  • remove the polystyrene container,
  • take the tow eye out of its storage box.
General advice Observe the regulations in force in your country. Check that the towing vehicle's mass is greater than the towed vehicle's mass. The towed vehicle must have a driver holding a valid driving licence. When towing with all four wheels on the ground, always use an approved towing bar. The use of ropes and straps is prohibited. The towing vehicle should pull away slowly. If the engine of the towed vehicle is switched off, it has no power-assisted braking or steering.In the following cases, you must contact roadside assistance:
  • the vehicle breaks down on a motorway or expressway,
  • the vehicle is four-wheel drive,
  • the gearbox cannot be put in neutral, the steering cannot be unlocked, or the parking brake cannot be released,
  • towing with two wheels lifted (two wheels on the ground),
  • no approved towing bar is available.
