Special cases: automatic engine restart
In this manual: Driving
~1min read
For safety or comfort reasons, the engine restarts automatically when:
- the driver's door is opened,
- the driver's seat belt is unfastened,
- vehicle speed exceeds 11 km/h,
- in certain specific conditions (battery charging, engine temperature, brake servo assistance, air conditioning control...) this is required to ensure control of the system or the vehicle.
The "ECO" indicator flashes for a few
seconds, then goes off.
This operation is completely normal.
