Refuelling
In this manual: Practical information
~1min read
The label on the inside of the flap indicates the type of fuel suitable for the engine.
Additional quantities should be more than 7 litres to be taken into account by the fuel gauge.
With the Stop & Start system, never refuel when the engine is in STOP mode; always switch off the ignition with the key.
To refuel safely:
- always switch off the engine,
- open the fuel filler flap,
- insert the key into the cap, then turn it anticlockwise,

- unscrew the cap and hang it on the hook on the inside of the flap,
- stop filling after the third automatic cut-off of the fuel nozzle. Otherwise, the system may malfunction.
After refuelling:
- refit the cap,
- turn the key clockwise, then remove it from the cap,
- close the fuel filler flap
Fuel for petrol engines
Petrol engines are designed to run on E10 biofuel (containing 10% ethanol), compliant with European standards EN 228 and EN 15376.
E85 fuel (containing up to 85% ethanol) is reserved exclusively for vehicles designed to use this type of fuel (BioFlex vehicles). The quality of the ethanol must comply with European standard EN 15293.
