Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Alternator drive belt. Press the belt down and remove it from the pulley groove.

3. Lead terminals..

4. Mounting bolts and alternator..

5. Red single lead on the rear side of the alternator..

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Lead to the rear side of the alternator..

2. Alternator to vehicle..

3. Mounting bolts..

4. Tighten the lower bolt to 51 N·m, upper bolt to 27 N·m and rear

mounting bolt to 33 N·m..

5. Lead terminals..

6. Alternator drive belt..

7. Negative battery cable.
