GENERAL INFORMATION.

The CS-121 and CS-130 alternators are part of the Delco Remy CS series. The numbers in the

designations correspond to the outer diameter (in mm) of the stator. In CS series alternators

a new type of three-diode voltage regulator is used. Stator phase windings connected in a delta configuration, rectifier assembly, rotor with

slip rings and brushes are of conventional design. On the shaft

of the alternator is installed a pulley with a fan for cooling the alternator. Inspection

hole is not provided..

If the starter fails, it is not repairable and is replaced as an assembly.
