Initial configuration of the window lifter system

If the battery is disconnected or a fuse is blown, the initial system configuration procedure must be repeated: manually move the appropriate window to the upper end of travel. Once this position is reached, continue holding the close button for at least 1 second.

CAUTION

26) Improper use of electric window lifters can be dangerous. Before and during operation, always make sure that passengers are not at risk of serious injury directly caused by the moving window, and that personal belongings will not be drawn in or crushed by it.

27) When leaving the vehicle, always remove the key from the ignition switch to avoid a situation in which the electric window lifters start unexpectedly, endangering the safety of persons remaining in the vehicle.
