360-Degree Camera (if equipped)

~3min read

The 360-degree camera system consists of front, side, and rear cameras. The system:

  • Allows you to see what is directly in front of or behind your vehicle.
  • Provides a view of cross traffic in front of and behind your vehicle.
  • Allows you to see from above the area around your vehicle, including blind spots.
  • Provides visibility around your vehicle during parking maneuvers, such as:
Centering in a parking space. Obstacles near the vehicle. Parallel parking.

The front camera on/off button is located near the display screen and turns on the front camera when your vehicle is not in Reverse (R).

System Operation

The front and rear cameras have several views, which consist of: 360 normal view, normal view, and split view. In Park (P), Neutral (N), or Drive (D), pressing the button displays only the front images. In Reverse (R), only the rear images are displayed.

Press to access another camera view.

Normal + 360 View: Contains the normal camera view together with the 360-degree camera view.

Normal View: Provides an image of what is directly in front of or behind your vehicle.

Split View: Provides an expanded view of what is in front of or behind your vehicle.

Restricted Area

The restricted area is shown by yellow dashed lines running parallel to your vehicle. It is intended to give you a reference based on the fully extended position of the outside rearview mirror.

Front Camera

The front video camera, located behind the star emblem on the grille, provides a video image of the area in front of your vehicle. It assists the driver when moving forward at low speeds. To use the front video camera system, place the transmission in any gear except Reverse (R). The image is displayed after pressing the front camera on/off button. The image on the screen may differ depending on your vehicle orientation or road conditions.

Side Camera

The side camera, located in the outside mirror, provides a video image of the area beside your vehicle as part of the front 360 + normal view and rear 360 + normal view. It helps you when parking your vehicle forward or backward.
