The sensing system alerts the driver to obstacles within a certain range of the vehicle's movement. The system switches on automatically each time the ignition is switched on.

You can switch the system off using the touchscreen or from the pop-up message that appears when you shift into reverse (R). See Settings. If your vehicle has a parking aid button, you can switch the system off by pressing the button.

If the system has a malfunction, a message appears in the information display. See Information Messages.
