Automatic Transmission

If position P is not selected, the warning buzzer sounds when the driver's door is opened.

Key outside the vehicle

Vehicles with keyless entry system

If the engine is running and the passive key is no longer detected inside the vehicle, the warning buzzer sounds when the doors are closed.

Lights on

The warning buzzer sounds when the driver's door is opened if the exterior lights are on and the ignition is switched off.

Low fuel level

The warning buzzer sounds when the low fuel warning light comes on.

Seat belt reminder

WARNINGS

  • The seat belt reminder function remains on standby after the front seat belts are fastened.
Will sound again if any seat belt is unfastened.
  • Do not sit on a fastened seat belt to prevent the seat belt reminder from being activated. The occupant protection system provides optimum protection only when the seat belts are used correctly.

    • When the vehicle speed exceeds the set limit, the warning buzzer sounds if either front seat belt is not fastened.

    The signal switches off after five minutes.
