CAUTION
When the light comes on, do not continue your journey, even if the coolant level is correct. The system should be checked by a suitably trained mechanic immediately.
If the light remains
on after the engine has started, or comes on while driving, this indicates a fault. Stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so and switch off the engine. Check the engine oil level. See Checking the engine oil

fog lamps are switched on.

Gear shift indicator
Illuminates to advise the
driver that changing up a gear may improve fuel economy and reduce CO2 emissions. It does not illuminate during rapid acceleration or braking, or when the clutch pedal is depressed.
Electronic Stability Program (ESP) indicator
Flashes while driving when the
system is operating. If it does not illuminate when the ignition is switched on, or if it stays on while driving, this indicates a fault. If a fault occurs, the system will switch off.
The system should be checked by a suitably trained technician as soon as possible.
If you switch off the ESP system, the warning light will illuminate. The light goes out when the system is switched back on or when the ignition is switched off.
