Select the USB device as the audio source by pressing the AUX button several times until the USB screen appears. When a USB device is connected for the first time, playback of the first track in the first folder starts automatically. When you switch to another audio source, the playback position on the USB device is stored.

To browse the device contents, press the up/down arrow button or the OK button once.

The display shows track information and other important information described below.

  • The vertical scroll bar on the right side of the screen shows the current position in the folder view.
  • ">" after an entry means that a lower level is available to browse (for example,
a folder with the album title in its name, containing the individual tracks from that album).
  • "<" before a list means that a higher level is available to browse.
  • The icons to the left of the track/folder description indicate the file/folder type. An explanation of these icons is given in the list.
  • To browse the contents of the USB device, use the up/down arrow buttons to scroll through lists and the left/right arrow buttons to move up or down the folder hierarchy. When the required track, playlist or folder is highlighted, press the OK button to select it for playback.

Tip: To go directly to the top level of the USB device contents, press and hold the left arrow button.
