Connect the iPod. See Connecting an external device (page 210).

Select the iPod as the audio source by pressing the AUX button repeatedly until the iPod screen appears.

The iPod menu list can be browsed on the radio display. Navigating the content follows the same rules as when using the iPod independently (e.g. searching by artist, title, etc.). To search the iPod content, press the up/down arrow button or the OK button once.

  • The display shows track information and other important information described below:
  • The vertical scroll bar on the right side of the screen shows the current position in the list preview.
  • ">" after an entry means that a lower level is available to browse (for example,
all albums of the given artist).
  • "<" before a list means that a higher level is available to browse.
  • The icon on the left shows the type of list currently displayed (e.g. album list). The meaning of these icons is given in the list.

    • To search the iPod content, use the up/down arrow buttons to scroll through lists and the left/right arrow buttons to move up or down the hierarchy. Once the desired track, song list, album, artist or genre is selected, press the OK button to start playback.

    Tip: To go directly to the top level of the iPod content, press and hold the left arrow button.
