Keyless vehicle starting will not work when:

  • The keyless key frequencies are being interfered with.
  • The keyless key battery is flat.

If you cannot start the vehicle, carry out the following procedure.

  1. Hold the key against the steering column shroud as shown in the illustration.
  2. With the key in this position, you can use the start button to switch on the ignition and start the vehicle engine.
