WARNINGS

  • Please contact your Dealer for the latest information on child seats recommended by Ford.
  • Text of the original according to ECE R94.01: Extreme Hazard! Do not use a rearward facing child restraint on a seat protected by an air bag in front of it!
  • When using a child seat with a support leg, make sure the support leg rests firmly on the floor.
  • When using a child seat together with the seat belt, make sure the seat belt is not slack or twisted.

CAUTION

The child seat must sit firmly on the vehicle seat.

It may be necessary to raise or remove the head restraint. See Head Restraints (page 85).

Tip: When installing a child seat in the front seat, always move the front passenger seat fully rearward. If it is difficult to press the lower seat belt strap down, set the seatback to the upright position and raise the seat height. See Seats (page 85).

*The ISOFIX size class of both universal and semi-universal child restraints is indicated by capital letters from A to G. These identification letters are placed on the ISOFIX child restraint.
