WARNINGS

  • Do not secure a booster seat or booster cushion using the lower seat belt strap only.
  • When fitting a booster seat or booster cushion, make sure the seat belt is not slack or twisted.
  • Do not route the seat belt strap under the child's arm or behind their back.
  • Do not use cushions, books or towels to raise the child's seat.
  • Make sure children sit in an upright position.
  • Children weighing more than 15 kg but not exceeding 150 cm in height must be transported in booster seats or on booster cushions.

CAUTION

When using a child seat on the rear seat, make sure the child seat rests firmly against the seat.

It may be necessary to raise or remove the head restraint. See Head Restraints.

We recommend using a booster seat with a backrest instead of a booster cushion alone. The raised seat position allows the adult upper seat belt to run across the middle of the child's shoulder, and the lower strap to rest snugly on their hips.
