For routine cleaning, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap and water solution. Dry the area with a clean, soft cloth.

To clean and remove stains such as paint transfer, use Motorcraft Premium Leather and Vinyl Cleaner or a commercially available leather cleaner suitable for automotive interiors.

You should:

  • Remove dust and loose dirt with a vacuum cleaner.
  • Clean and treat spills and stains as soon as possible.

Do not use the following products, as they may damage the leather:

  • Oil-based or silicone-based leather conditioners.
  • Household cleaners.
  • Alcohol-based solutions.
  • Solvents or cleaners designed specifically for rubber, vinyl and plastic.
