  1. Switch on Bluetooth on the mobile phone. For more information on phone settings, refer to the user guide for your mobile phone.
  2. Press the PHONE button, then press and hold the MENU button to scroll to the ADD DEVICE screen. Press the OK button.
  3. Select VIA RADIO and press OK.
  4. After selecting VIA AUDIO, SEARCHING is displayed.
  5. Select the desired Bluetooth device from the list found by the radio unit and press OK.
  6. Enter the 6-digit PIN on the radio.
  7. Check that the number shown on the radio display matches the number shown on the mobile phone and, if the relevant message appears, confirm the pairing.
  8. If pairing is successful, SET PRIMARY appears on the radio display.
  9. Press the OK button twice to confirm your mobile phone as the primary device for all future connections.
  10. LOAD PHONEBK then appears on the audio unit. Press the OK button twice to confirm downloading your phone book to the system.
  11. The name of the Bluetooth device appears on the audio unit.
Downloading the phone book

If the phone book was not downloaded during the initial Bluetooth pairing, follow the procedure below.

  • Press the PHONE button, then press and hold the MENU button to scroll to the LOAD PHONEBK screen.
  • Press the OK button.
Deleting a paired device or mobile phone

To remove a paired device, follow this procedure:

  • Press the PHONE button, then press and hold the MENU button to scroll to the DEL DEVICE screen.
  • Press the OK button. The name of the first paired device appears. Scroll using the up and down arrow buttons and select the desired device name. Select the YES option using the arrow buttons.
  • Press OK to unpair the device.
Privacy mode

A call can be transferred from hands-free mode to private mode while in progress.

Press the MENU button until PRIVACY appears, then press the OK button to transfer the call. To return to hands-free mode, press the call button.
