Your vehicle is equipped with an electronically controlled steering lock that operates automatically.

The system locks the steering wheel shortly after you park your vehicle and the intelligent key is outside the vehicle, or when you lock the vehicle.

Note: The system does not lock the steering wheel when the ignition is on or when your vehicle is moving.

Unlocking the Steering Wheel

Switch the ignition on to unlock the steering wheel.

Note: You may need to turn the steering wheel slightly to release the lock.
