Before starting diagnosis of a failure in any circuit, check the condition of the fuses and circuit breakers protecting it (if provided). Make sure the battery is fully charged and check the condition of the wire connections from its terminals (see Chapter Maintenance and Tune-up).
When searching for a failure in a specific circuit, first check the condition of the electrical connections of its wiring. When disconnecting electrical connectors, pull only on the connector housings, never on the wire harness.
