Front Door Window Glass Repair Procedures

Replacement

   Remove the front door trim. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim")

   Remove the front door belt inside the weatherstrip (A).

   Separate the installation plug hole (A) from the front door module.

   Lower the window by pressing the power window switch until the glass mounting bolt appears in the plug hole.

   Be careful not to drop the glass and/or scratch its surface.

   Using the door switch, align the mounting hole/bolt with the hole in the door. If the window regulator motor does not operate, remove the motor and align the hole manually.

   After loosening the window mounting bolts, adjust the window gap (A) by moving the window side to side, then tighten the bolts.

   Tightening torque: 8.8 ~ 11.8 N·m

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Move the glass up and down to check that it moves smoothly. If necessary, adjust the glass position. Check that the door locks and opens properly. Inspect the glass run channel for damage and replace it if damaged.
