Description

The knee airbag (KAB) is installed in the lower part of the instrument panel and protects the driver in the event of a frontal collision. The SRSCM determines whether and when to deploy the KAB.
  • Never attempt to measure the resistance of the airbag module circuit (squib), even if you use the specified tester. If the circuit resistance is measured with a tester, accidental airbag deployment will result in serious injury.
