Description

The passenger airbag (PAB) module is located in the passenger crash pad. This PAB contains 2 airbag initiators. Depending on the crash severity or seat belt fastening, the timing of both 2 airbag initiators is determined.
  • Never attempt to measure the resistance of the airbag module circuit (initiator), even if using the specified tester. If the circuit resistance is measured by a tester, accidental airbag deployment may cause serious injury.
