Before operating the vehicle, make sure that the inside rearview mirror is positioned correctly. Adjust the rearview mirror so that the view through the rear window is properly centered.

WARNING

Make sure your line of sight is not obstructed. Do not place items on the rear seat, in the cargo area, or behind the rear seat headrests that may interfere with your view through the rear window.

WARNING

To avoid serious injury during an accident or airbag deployment, do not modify the rearview mirror or install a wide-angle mirror.

WARNING

NEVER adjust the mirror while driving. This may result in loss of vehicle control and an accident.

NOTICE

When cleaning the mirror, use a paper towel or similar material dampened with glass cleaner. Do not spray glass cleaner directly onto the mirror, as liquid may enter the mirror housing.
