The power outlet is designed to supply power to mobile phones or other devices designed to operate with the vehicle's electrical system. Devices must consume less than 180 W with the engine running.
WARNING
Avoid electric shock. Do not place your fingers or foreign objects (pins, etc.) into the power outlet, or touch the power outlet with wet hands.
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the power outlet:
- Use the power outlet only when the engine is running and unplug the plug after use. Using the power outlet for an extended period with the engine off may discharge the battery.
- Use only 12 V electrical accessories that consume less than 180 W of electrical capacity.
- Set the air conditioner or heater to the lowest operating level when using the power outlet.
- Keep the cover closed when the outlet is not in use.
- Some electronic devices may cause electronic interference when connected to the vehicle power outlet. These devices may cause excessive noise and malfunction of other electronic systems or devices used in your vehicle.
- Insert the plug fully. If good contact is not made, the plug may overheat and blow the fuse.
- Connect the battery to electrical/electronic devices with reverse current protection. Electric current from the battery may flow into the vehicle's electrical/electronic system and cause a system malfunction.
