Filter Inspection

The cabin air filter should be replaced in accordance with the Maintenance Schedule. If the vehicle is operated in severely polluted city air or on dusty, rough roads for a long period, it should be inspected more often and replaced earlier. When replacing the cabin air filter, replace it by performing the following procedures and be careful to avoid damaging other components.

1. With the glove box open, remove the stoppers on both sides to allow the glove box to hang freely from the hinges.

2. Remove the support rod (1).

3. Remove the cabin air filter housing cover by pulling the left side of the cover.

4. Replace the cabin air filter.

5. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

✽ NOTICE

Install the new cabin air filter in the correct direction, with the arrow symbol (↓) pointing downward. Otherwise, the climate control performance may decrease and noise may occur.
