Bulbs
Consult an authorized HYUNDAI dealer for replacement of most vehicle bulbs. Replacing a bulb can be difficult because other vehicle parts must be removed before the bulb can be reached. This is especially true when removing the headlamp assembly to access the lamp(s).
Removing/installing the headlamp assembly may cause damage to the vehicle.
✽ NOTICE
After intensive driving, rain, or washing, the headlamp and tail lamp lenses may appear frosted. This condition is caused by the temperature difference between the inside of the lamp and the outside temperature. It is similar to condensation on your windows inside the vehicle during rain and does not indicate a problem with your vehicle. If water enters the electrical circuit of the lamp bulb socket, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
WARNING
- Before replacing a bulb, depress the brake pedal, move the shift lever to P (Park), apply the parking brake, press the Engine Start/Stop button to the OFF position, and take the key with you when leaving the vehicle, to prevent sudden vehicle movement and possible electric shock.
- Be aware that bulbs may be hot and can burn your fingers.
