1. CRUISE indicator
2. Set indicator
The cruise control system allows you to drive at speeds above 20 mph (30 km/h) without pressing the accelerator pedal.
WARNING
Observe the following precautions:
- If cruise control remains on (CRUISE indicator on the instrument panel illuminated), cruise control may be activated unintentionally. Keep the cruise control system off (CRUISE OFF indicator) when cruise control is not in use to avoid accidentally setting a speed.
- Use the cruise control system only when driving on open roads in good weather conditions.
- Do not use cruise control when it may be unsafe to maintain a constant speed:
- Driving in heavy or variable traffic.
- On slippery (wet, icy, or snow-covered) roads.
- On hilly or winding roads.
- In very windy areas.
Setting the Cruise Control Speed

1. Press the CRUISE button on the steering wheel to turn the system on. The CRUISE indicator will illuminate.
2. Accelerate to the desired speed, which must be above 20 mph (30 km/h).

3. Push the lever (1) down (SET-) and release it. The SET indicator will illuminate.
4. Release the accelerator pedal.
✽ NOTICE
The vehicle may slightly decelerate or accelerate when driving uphill or downhill.
To increase the cruise control speed
.jpg)
- Push the lever (1) up (RES+) and hold it while monitoring the SET speed on the instrument cluster. Release the lever when the desired speed is displayed and the vehicle accelerates to that speed.
- Push the lever (1) up (RES+) and release it immediately. The cruise speed will increase by 1.0 mph (1.6 km/h) each time the lever is pushed in this manner.
- Press the accelerator pedal. When the vehicle reaches the desired speed, push the lever (1) down (SET-).
To decrease the cruise control speed

- Push the lever (1) down (SET-) and hold it. The vehicle will gradually decelerate. Release the lever at the speed you want to maintain.
- Push the lever (1) down (SET-) and release it immediately. The cruise speed will decrease by 1.0 mph (1.6 km/h) each time the lever is pushed in this manner.
- Lightly press the brake pedal. When the vehicle reaches the desired speed, push the lever (1) down (SET-).
To temporarily accelerate with cruise control on
Press the accelerator pedal. When you release the accelerator pedal, the vehicle will return to the previously set speed.
If you push the lever down (SET-) at a higher speed, Cruise Control will maintain the higher speed.
Cruise control will be canceled when:

- The brake pedal is pressed.
- The CANCEL switch on the steering wheel is pressed.
- The CRUISE button is pressed. Both the CRUISE indicator and the SET indicator will turn off.
- The shift lever is moved to the N (Neutral) position.
- The vehicle speed falls below the memorized speed by 10 km/h.
- The vehicle speed decreases to less than approximately 20 mph (30 km/h).
- ESC (Electronic Stability Control) operates.
- The transmission downshifts to 2nd gear in Sport mode.
✽ NOTICE
Each of the above actions cancels cruise control operation (the SET indicator in the instrument cluster will turn off), but only pressing the CRUISE button will turn the system off. To resume cruise control, push the lever up (RES+) located on the steering wheel. You will return to the previously set speed, unless the system was turned off using the CRUISE button.
To resume the previously set cruise speed

Push the lever (1) up (RES+). If the vehicle speed is above 20 mph (30 km/h), the vehicle will resume the set speed.
To Turn Off Cruise Control

- Press the CRUISE button (the CRUISE indicator will turn off).
- TURN the engine OFF.
