Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) System
.jpg)
The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) system uses a radar sensor to alert the driver.
It senses the rear side areas of the vehicle and warns the driver if it detects an object approaching from these areas.
(1) BSD (Blind-Spot Detection)
The warning range depends on the speed of your vehicle. However, if your vehicle is much faster than another vehicle, the system will not warn you.
(2) LCA (Lane Change Assist)
If the system detects a vehicle approaching you at high speed, the system will warn you.
(3) RCTA (Rear Cross-Traffic Alert)
If the sensor detects an approaching vehicle from the left or right side as your vehicle moves in reverse, the system will warn you.
WARNING
- Always check road conditions while driving for unexpected situations, even though the Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) system is operating.
- The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) System is an additional aid to assist you. Do not rely solely on the system and always pay attention and drive carefully.
- The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) System is not a substitute for proper and safe driving. Always drive safely and be careful when changing lanes or backing up. The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) System may not detect every object near the vehicle.
WARNING
Since Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) is an additional device for safe driving, it can be dangerous to rely only on BSD information or the projected image when changing lanes. Always pay attention to safe driving.
