Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) helps avoid collisions by early detection of critical situations and warning the driver.
WARNING
Observe the following precautions when using Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB):
- This system is only a supplemental system and is not intended to replace the need for extreme care and attention by the driver. The operating range and objects detected by the sensors are limited. Always pay attention to road conditions.
- NEVER drive too fast for road conditions or too fast when cornering.
- Always drive carefully to prevent unexpected and sudden situations from occurring. AEB does not stop the vehicle completely and does not prevent collisions.
- AEB operates based on the distance to the vehicle ahead, relative speed, and driver brake or accelerator pedal operation. Do not intentionally drive dangerously to test AEB.
- ALWAYS check the speed and distance to the vehicle ahead. AEB does not replace safe driving.
