  • The Smart Trunk operates with a welcome alert if the Smart Key is detected within 20~40 in (50~100 cm) of the trunk.
  • The warning immediately stops if the Smart Key moves outside the detection area during the detection and warning stage.

✽ NOTICE

  • The Smart Trunk function will not operate if one of the following conditions occurs:
    - The Smart Key is near a radio transmitter, such as a radio station or airport, which may interfere with normal operation of the transmitter.
    - The Smart Key is near a mobile phone, two-way radio system, or cellular phone.
    - A Smart Key of another vehicle is operated near your vehicle.
  • The detection range may decrease or increase if:
    - One side of the tire is raised to replace a tire or check the vehicle.
    - The vehicle is parked at an angle on a slope or unpaved road, etc.
