Before driving, adjust the interior rearview mirror to center the view through the rear window.

WARNING

Make sure your line of sight is not obstructed. Do not place items on the rear seat, cargo area, or behind the rear seat headrests, as they may interfere with your view through the rear window.

WARNING

To avoid serious injury during an accident or airbag deployment, do not modify the rearview mirror or install a wide-angle mirror.

WARNING

NEVER adjust the mirror while driving. This may cause loss of vehicle control, resulting in an accident.

CAUTION

When cleaning the mirror, use a paper towel or similar material dampened with glass cleaner. Do not spray glass cleaner directly onto the mirror, as liquid cleaner may enter the mirror housing.
