Rear View Monitor Parking Assist Function

When the gear shift lever is moved to the R (Reverse) position, the outside rearview mirror(s) tilt downward to assist reverse driving. The position of the outside rearview mirror switch (1) determines whether the mirrors will move:

Left/Right: When either the L (left) or R (right) switch is selected, both outside rearview mirrors will move.

Neutral: When neither switch is selected, the outside rearview mirrors will not move.

The outside rearview mirrors will automatically return to their original position if one of the following occurs:

• The Engine Start/Stop button is pressed to the OFF or ACC position.
• The gear selector lever is moved to any position other than R (Reverse).
• The outside rearview mirror switch is not selected.
