Replacement

  1. Remove the rear door module. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Module")
  2. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the rear door regulator (A).
  3. Disconnect the rear door lock connector (B).
  4. Remove the rear door latch assembly (C) by pulling it in the direction indicated by the arrow.
  5. Remove the rear door inside handle (A).
  6. Remove the rear door inside handle cable (A) by pushing it rearward.
  7. Remove the rear door outside handle cable (A).
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    • Make sure the connector is properly connected.
    • Check that the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
    • Replace all damaged clips.
