Welcome Light

Puddle lamp

When all doors (and the trunk) are closed and locked, the courtesy lamp will illuminate for approximately 15 seconds if any of the following actions is performed.

• When the unlock button on the smart key is pressed.
• When the button on the outside door handle is pressed.
• When approaching the vehicle while carrying the smart key.

Also, if the outside rearview mirror folding switch is in the AUTO position, the outside rearview mirrors will unfold automatically.

Door Handle Lamp

When all doors (and the trunk) are closed and locked, the door handle lamp will illuminate for approximately 15 seconds if any of the following actions is performed.

• When the unlock button on the smart key is pressed.
• When the button on the outside door handle is pressed.
• When approaching the vehicle while carrying the smart key.

Headlamp and Parking Lamp

When the headlamp (lamp switch in the ON or AUTO position) and all doors (and the trunk) are locked and closed, the parking lamps and headlamps will illuminate for 15 seconds if any of the following actions is performed.

• When the unlock button on the smart key is pressed.

During this time, if you press the door lock or unlock button on the smart key, the parking lamps and headlamps will turn on immediately.

You can activate or deactivate the Welcome Light in the User Settings (Light) mode on the LCD display.

Courtesy Lamp

When the interior lamp switch is in the DOOR position and all doors (and the trunk) are closed and locked, the room lamp will illuminate for 30 seconds if any of the following actions is performed.

• When the unlock button on the smart key is pressed.
• When the button on the outside door handle is pressed.

During this time, if you press the door lock or unlock button on the smart key, the room lamp will turn off immediately.
