- Check the gauges, indicators, and instrument cluster messages on the display when the ignition switch is in the ON position.

- Make sure all cargo is positioned correctly and secured properly.

WARNING All passengers must wear their seat belts while the vehicle is moving. Refer to "Seat Belts" in Section 3 for more information on their proper use. WARNING - Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs NEVER drink alcohol or use drugs and then drive. Drinking or using drugs and then driving is dangerous and can cause an accident resulting in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH. Drunk driving is the leading cause of traffic fatalities every year. Even a small amount of alcohol affects reflexes, perception, and judgment. Even one drink can reduce your ability to respond to changing conditions and emergencies, and reaction time worsens with each additional drink. Driving under the influence of drugs is just as dangerous as, or more dangerous than, driving under the influence of alcohol. The probability of a serious accident is much higher if you drink or use drugs and then drive. If you are drinking or taking drugs, do not drive. Do not ride with a driver who has consumed alcohol or drugs. Choose a driver who has not consumed alcohol or drugs, or call a taxi.
