Snow or Ice

You must maintain sufficient distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead.

Brake lightly. Also, excessive speed, rapid acceleration, sudden braking and sharp turns are very dangerous practices. When decelerating, use engine braking to the maximum. Sudden braking on snowy or icy roads may cause skidding.

To drive the vehicle in deep snow conditions, you may need to use snow tires or install snow chains on the wheels.

Always carry emergency equipment.

Some of these items are snow chains, straps or tow chains, flashlight, flares, sand, shovel, jumper cables, windshield scrapers, gloves, waterproof sheet, overalls, blanket, etc.
