ISG System Operation
The ISG system reduces fuel consumption by automatically stopping the engine when the vehicle is stationary.
(For example: red traffic light, stop sign and traffic.) The engine restarts automatically as soon as the initial conditions are met.
The ISG system is activated whenever the engine is running.
NOTE
When the engine restarts automatically through the ISG system, some warning lights (ABS, ESC, ESC OFF, EPS or parking brake warning light) may illuminate for a few seconds.
This occurs due to low battery voltage. It does not mean that the system is not operating correctly.
