1. Fully depress the brake pedal.

2. Shift to P (Park).

3. Apply the parking brake.

4. Press the engine start/stop button to turn off the vehicle.

5. Make sure the " " indicator on the instrument cluster is off.

CAUTION

If the "Hyundai Ioniq. Turning Off the Vehicle" indicator on the instrument cluster is still illuminated, the vehicle has not turned off and may move when the shift lever is in any position other than P (Park).
