Driving Your Vehicle
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)
In this manual: Driving Your Vehicle
~1min read
The Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system is designed to help detect and track a vehicle ahead or detect a pedestrian (if equipped) on the road using radar and camera recognition signals, to warn the driver of an unavoidable collision and, if necessary, apply emergency braking.
WARNING
Observe the following precautions when using the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system:
- This system is only a supplemental system and is not designed to replace the driver's need for extreme caution and attention. The detection range and the objects detected by the sensors are limited. Always pay attention to road conditions.
- NEVER drive too fast for road conditions or while turning.
- Always drive carefully to prevent unexpected and sudden situations from occurring. FCA does not stop the vehicle completely and does not prevent a collision.
